h1 {
    font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;
    color: #576D94
}

p {
    font-size: 18px;
    color: #4A4943;
    font-family: Garamond, serif;
}
img {
    height: 100px;
    width: 300px;
    border: 1px solid #4682b4;
}

a {
    text-decoration: none;
    color: #cc0000;
}

index.html

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
	<head>
		<title>Result</title>
		<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="stylesheet.css" />
	</head>
	<body>
	    <h1>Look At This!</h1>

Hi @sitballr. One problem I see in your code is in stylesheet.css, inside your h1— you forget to add a semicolon after you set the color. Semicolons are very important and even missing one at the top can affect code throughout your file. I believe this may be the source of your problem. :slight_smile:

@sgt.schultz I have fixed that, this is now my Stylesheet.css code

h1 {
    font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;
    color: #576D94;
}

p {
    font-size: 18px;
    color: #4A4943;
    font-family: Garamond, serif;
}
img {
    height: 100px;
    width: 300px;
    border: 1px solid #4682b4;
}

a {
    text-decoration: none;
    color: #cc0000;
}

It still has the error: Oops, try again. Did you remember to set your link's text-decoration to none;?

Let me reset code and redo it ill let you know if It did not fix it.

#5

Just tried it. This did not work,

New Code for stylesheet.css

h1 {
    font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;
    color: #576D94;
}

p {
    font-size: 18px;
    color: #4A4943;
    font-family: Garamond, serif;
}
img {
    height: 100px;
    width: 300px;
    border: 1px solid #4682b4;
}

a {
   text-decoration: none;
   color: #cc0000;
}

It is showing the the text-decoration to none like below, and the color is correct, but it is still giving the error above

#7

Hello, I think it is. Ill submit it as a bug.

#8

#9

This might sound silly, but I've never actually submitted one...lol

I am going to link @zystvan hopefully he or someone else can continue to help you (or point out some obvious thing that I am missing :yum:)

#10

Same this is happening to me

#11

Can you post your code as well and let me take a looksie?

#12

After looking at some of the other replies I tried switching the browser and that worked. Thanks:)

#13

Ill try to switch the browser.

#14

Hey! How to solve this problem without switching browsers?

#15

Just would like to say I've run into the same exact problem using google chrome.

edit: just tried on firefox and it worked instantly.

#16

Yeah, Ima try soon. so I think the problem is google chrome.
:confused:

#17

I am also having this problem with code pretty much identical to the above. Sad to add this to my list of reasons to leave Google Chrome!

#18

I'm running chrome on a mac and had the problem (with the evaluation - the result has always been fine). Switched to Firefox and problem went away.
