Tea Cozy project

I just started the tea cozy project and realized that my style.css is not working. Could you please tell me what I did wrong? I double checked many time. I have to style in html so I can see the logo image to adjust the size. Thank you in advance.

Hello @bit7943596306, welcome to the forums! Could you tell me what’s not working with the code? Also check this line

it doesn’t end in a semi-colon.

Hello Aidan,
My name is Carolle. Thank you so much for reaching out to me. Somehow my style.css is not working. I checked my link many time. I deleted the all code and start over. Nothing seem to work. Even though I fixed the semi-colon that’s missing.

Hello @bit7943596306, welcome to the forums! Could you tell me what’s not working with the code? Also check this line

bit7943596306:

color: seashell

it doesn’t end in a semi-colon.

Could you tell me what it is that isn’t working? (i.e. border isn’t in the right place, etc.) Also some screenshots of the part that isn’t working would be helpful.

That’s the whole css code. when I checked my page, it’s like I never put a link between them.

Is the style.css not in a folder called css?

Yes it’s. here is what I did. I create a new folder called “tea cozy”, and inside I put index.html file. I create another folder inside of “tea cozy” called resources and, 2 others one called css and images inside of resources. Inside of css I create a file called style.css

Shouldn’t you then have the fact that style.css is inside the css folder in your file path? Right now, it’s looking for a file called style.css directly within the Tea Cozy folder.

All right. Thank you so much for you time and help.
