Taking a vacation

#1

The problem with the change is that it has many bugs/errors. F.ex.

I was at progress 47% and it downgraded me to 4% so I had to redo all the exercises (it took me 2 hours to get from 4% to 33%, which is kinda good).

However, now at “4.Functions/Taking Vacation/3. Getting there”, i received the following error:

File “python”, line 8
elif city == “Tampa”:
^
IndentationError: unexpected indent

This is my script:

def hotel_cost(nights):
  hotel_cost =  140*nights
  return hotel_cost

def plane_ride_cost(city):
  if city == "Charlotte":
    return 183
  elif city == "Tampa":
    return 220
  elif city == "Pittsburgh":
    return 222
  elif city == "Los Angeles":
    return 475
  else:
    "We dont have the city in our database"

If, elif and else have 1 indentation. Return has 2.
Is it me or just the new version of codecademy?

Kind regards!

Is there a new layout for python?

i had several indent problems as well (my progress is also lost, so now rushing through the course), you just need to re-indent the lines (might take more then 1 attempt), i was working on making a report about this problem in this new enviroment

Perfect man! It works. I´ve just deleted all the indents and made them again and it works! :slight_smile: Thanks!
