Super Nub-Seeminly simple task, but stuck!

Taking the Python course:

Create a new variable brian and assign it the string "Hello life!".

Set the variable brian on line 3!

name = "brian"
my_string = "Hello life!"

Oops, try again. Did you create a variable called brian?

What am I doing wrong here?

Thank you!

Replace this line with your code.

So when you create a variable think about it as you are defining a word. Word = definition In this case you have your variable, brian. and what you want your variable to equal "Hello life!". Therefore, you want to set it up accordingly as in this basic setup:

variable = "string"

I think you can take it from here :smiley:

Thanks very much, I really appreciate you taking the time to answer my question!

No problem! Glad I could be of assistance! :smiley:
