It might be worth mentioning that the syntax to refer to a for-loop variable is #{$varName}. I was confused for a second when doing the exercise in the above link, wondering why there is a . and # in front of the variable name and found out that the # is part of the syntax to refer to the variable, and . is used to declare that the CSS is to be applied to class.
