Student becomes the teacher

#1

im stuck with lesson 1

I think I have written everything right , but I get a oops message saying "the name key does not have the value "Lloyd" in your dictionary, what should I be doing

lloyd = {
    "name"      :["Lloyd"],
    "homework"  :[],
    "quizzes"   :[],
    "tests"     :[]
    }
alice = {
    "name"      :["Alice"],
    "homework"  :[],
    "quizzes"   :[],
    "tests"     :[]
    }
tyler = {
    "name":["Tyler"],
    "homework"  :[],
    "quizzes"   :[],
    "tests"     :[]
    }

#2

i think you misunderstand the value of name
they want just one value , not a list : like your code

Instruction 3 :
Have the "name" key be the name of the student (that is, lloyd's name should be "Lloyd") and the other keys should be an empty list.

#3

In short, what the exercise wants is a string value for the property/key "name", but what you are giving is list :wink:
