Stuck on Conditions and Control Flow - Mix 'N' Match

#1

Stuck on this one, just can't seem to get past Bool_three - knowing me 4 and 5 won't work either, just hoping someone might be able to tell me qwhere I'm going wrong.

Use boolean expressions as appropriate on the lines below!

Make me false!

bool_one = (2 <= 2) and "Alpha" == "Bravo" # We did this one for you!

Make me true!

bool_two = (5 == (2 * 2.5) and "Cereal" == "Cereal"

Make me false!

bool_three = (98 <= 100) or (99 < 100)

Make me true!

bool_four = "Yes" != "No" not "Yes" == "No"

Make me true!

bool_five = 5 + 4 == 9 and 4 + 5 == 9

#2
  1. is obviously correct thanks to the creator.

  2. is fine,

  3. Doesn't work and I'm not sure about 4 or 5

It comes up with:

Oops, try again. Make sure you have a value for all 5 variables! below and

File "python", line 10
bool_three = (98 <= 100) or (99 < 100)
^
SyntaxError: invalid syntax

In the box.

@dukedemon check the below:

Make me true!
bool_two = (5 == (2 * 2.5)) and "Cereal" == "Cereal"
        #       RESULT OF YOU OPERATIONS
        # True and True = True Result OK

Make me false!
bool_three = (98 <= 100) or (99 < 100)
        #       RESULT OF YOU OPERATIONS
             """ True or True = True THIS IS MUST BE FALSE
I suggest the following bool_three = (98 <= 100) or (99 > 100)
"""
Make me true!
bool_four = "Yes" != "No" not "Yes" == "No"
""" I suggest the below
not "Yes" == "No"  #simple :stuck_out_tongue:
"""

#4

Thanks for the quick reply @mrugerio it still doesn't seem to be working though,

I'm still getting the same error in the box but its also coming up with the error below:

Oops, try again. Make sure you have a value for all 5 variables!

I changed my 3rd Bool to bool_three = (98 <= 100) or (99 > 100) and it is still stating an invalid syntax.

#5

i think you might need brackets around bool_5

#7

Hi @dukedemon check you code

bool_two = (5 == (2 * 2.5) and "Cereal" == "Cereal"

And my code said...

bool_two = (5 == (2 * 2.5)) and "Cereal" == "Cereal"

Missing a bracket
