Stuck on 9/10 CSS ID Selector

Hey guys so I have been stuck on the 9/10 for the CSS lesson for a long time. I get the error that I still need to make the footer selector a font size property of .75rem but, on my sample page for the website the font for it was switched to .75rem. I have looked at all the other forums on this topic and have not seen a solution. My code seems to be perfect as well. Any suggestions are welcomed thanks. Here is my code for the main.css;

body {
height: 100%;
margin: 0;
text-align: center;
width: 100%;

h1 {
font-family: Palatino, ‘Palatino Linotype’,serif;
color: rgb(46,105,163);
font-size: 32px;

h2 {
font-size: 56px;

.hero {
font-family: ‘Trebuchet MS’, Helvetica, sans-serif;
color: ffffff;
padding: 250px 0;
margin: 30px;
background-image: url(“”); background-size: cover;

p {
font-size: 2rem;
#footer {font-size : .75rem;}

.hero a {
font-size: 1.25em;
text-decoration: none;}

Nevermind I found the fix by putting it at the bottom and putting a zero before .75 like this,

#footer {font-size: 0.75rem;}

remove p { font-size : 2 rem } from main.css and then select #footer and resize it, for me its worked
