Strings & Console Output

#1

On line 13, assign the variable fifth_letter equal to the fifth letter of the string "MONTY".

There is no fifth letter in "MONTY" the count goes from 0 to 4

The help suggest "Y" ignoring the 0, but when I add this to the code it produces an error.

Replace this line with your code.

That would be, the indexes go from 0 to 4.

'MONTY'[4]  === "Y"

HI :slight_smile:
maibe yopu can help me: how do I download a copy of material covered in Python course for review

Once I learn something I need to go back to it because lack of practice I don't memorize immediately

I just brought up the idea of not being able to memorize, but it was in a totally different vein, though much the same. In my case, I have a memory problem. But I do remember that touching the burner on the stove will have a consequence. That is where we are coming from.
