Strings (brian)

#1

I'm stuck on string and console output.

It says : Create a new variable brian and assign it the string "Hello life!".

so i did declare it but the output always has some error like this : Oops, try again. Did you create a variable called brian?

can somebody show me how to get this correct? please.
thanks

#2

You should write on line 3 : brian = "Hello life"

#3

i did that earlier but it didn't worked!
tried again and now it's working.
maybe some glitch.. thanks

#4

Are you sure you have put all the space bar, correct spelling...

#5

yes i am sure. i wrote that properly, brian = "Hello life!"

#6

theres no " ! " in the syntaxe

#7

I tried typing brian="Hello life" on line 3 and it gave me the error: Oops, try again. It seems that Brian has value "Hello life." instead of "Hello life."

Which is the exact same answer that it is looking for, I am confused please help!

#8

Hi try to write it like that brian = "Hello life!"

#9

Hi, thank you for the response, so when I try that it says: Oops, try again. It seems that Brian has value "Hello life!" instead of "Hello life."

#10

if its is not working try to refresh the page.

It is capital sensitive... I didn't realise for a while... just in case anyone was wondering :slightly_smiling:
