Strange...Is it defying the laws?

In between the and tags, whatever we do is shown up on the page right? Then when I pasted the image code outside the html, it still showed the image...Why??? Please explain ASAP...

No, the html tags are jut to provide the DOM (document object model), when you will work with css selectors later on (or jquery) you will see how important the object model is.

You are free to place it outside the html tags, but that might get you into trouble later
