I am not getting the correct result according to the console guardian.
I am getting this error instead but that math cant be right!!
Oops, try again. calling compute_bill with a list containing 1 apple, 1 pear and 1 banana resulted in 9 instead of the correct 7

shopping_list = ["banana", "apple", 'pear']

stock = {
    "banana": 6,
    "apple": 0,
    "orange": 32,
    "pear": 15
}

prices = {
    "banana": 4,
    "apple": 2,
    "orange": 1.5,
    "pear": 3
}

def compute_bill(food):
    total = 0
    for fruit in food:
        total = total + prices[fruit]
    return total

print compute_bill(shopping_list)

You didn't subtract one from the item's stock count, as per the instructions.
