Stocking Out

Oops, try again. stock doesn't look quite right! Make sure to not call compute_bill since it changes the stock! It should contain: {'orange': 32, 'pear': 15, 'banana': 6, 'apple': 0}

It should progress.

1.My total value -5.5 printed in console correctly
2.I am decresing the stock perfectly

shopping_list = ["banana", "orange", "apple"]

stock = {
    "banana": 6,
    "apple": 0,
    "orange": 32,
    "pear": 15
prices = {
    "banana": 4,
    "apple": 2,
    "orange": 1.5,
    "pear": 3

# Write your code below!
def compute_bill(food):
    for item in food:
        if stock[item]>0:
            total=total+ prices[item]
            print total
    return total

result=compute_bill(["banana", "orange", "apple"])
print result

remove this lines:

result=compute_bill(["banana", "orange", "apple"])
print result

by calling the function, the stock changes before the exercise can validate your code is correct

given you deleted the reply, i assumed you figured it out?
