Step 6: Jumbotron fonts

#1

I keep getting an error telling me to insert the link element inside the head element in index.html. I have done this...both above and below . Neither work.
What's going on here?

@burnse, please post your code and I will assist you!

Mine keeps failing too. However I just modified it without the main.css file by entering: <head>
<link href="http://s3.amazonaws.com/codecademy-content/courses/ltp/css/shift.css" rel="stylesheet">
<style>
div h1 {
font-family: 'Shift', sans-serif;
}
</style>
</head>

in the index.html file. So i added the style part between the head tags.
Thats works.

#5

What about all of your other CSS rules? Wouldn't be easier to just put the link to main.css back?

#6

how do you do that? thank you

#7

It should look like this:

  <head>
    <link href="http://s3.amazonaws.com/codecademy-content/courses/ltp/css/shift.css"rel="stylesheet">
    <link href="main.css" rel="stylesheet">
  </head>

#8

thanks,this works great

@cadecodes, Thanks!....I had "codeacademy-content" not "codecademy-content"! :sweat_smile: I've gone back to work my through HTML and CSS basics, so hopefully the website material will prove easier after that.

Hi I copied this from your answer and added it to my index.html....and it let me pass? This is the select passage I copied

I tried to complete the 2nd question in main.css and it kept it saying error??? So I am somewhat confused, but happy that I am moving on as it seems I have been stuck on this for ages!!!
