Span and font family

#1

this is instruction:
Go to the stylesheet.css tab and tell the span selector that you want the font-family to be cursive. Check the Hint if you need help!

and below my code. I dont know what is wrong I need to add font family but as below is still wrong and appear noter "Oops, try again. Did you remember to add font-family: cursive; to the 'span' selector in your CSS tab?'' please for help

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
	<head>
		<link type="text/css" rel="stylesheet" href="stylesheet.css"
<span {
"font-family: cursive" } </span>

		<title>Even Fancier Fonts</title>
	</head>
	<body>

		<p>Much of this is regular text, but some of it is <span>fancy</span>!
		We can use our <span>newly fancified font</span> to add some
		<span>flair</span> to our website. It'd be a <span>royal pain</span>
		to make each of these span tags <span>fancy</span> individually,
		but it's a cinch with <span>CSS</span>!</p>
	</body>
</html>

This is not how you add CSS to an HTML tag.

There's a few ways but in this lesson you are styling using an external stylesheet which you have linked in with this code: <link type="text/css" rel="stylesheet" href="stylesheet.css"

Now click on the CSS tab(stylesheet.css)
in there you will type your CSS code.

To style a span tag you select like this:

span {

}

no < >

Example I want to change the color of the paragraph to blue I would do this:

p{
   color: blue;
}
