#2

#3

#4

When i use the same code in firefox, it dosn't even dash the circles...

#5

Hey.

Try adding semi-colons at the end of your statement's like @sumwatt told you to. Make sure to press "sumbit code".

Also, I think Codeacademy was designed to be used on Chrome, so try again on that browser if possible :smile:

#6

Hi, first off it didnt work with ";" after each statement in css nothing changed. And this code is written in chrome so thats not a problem. And yes, I have pressed the submit code button, several times. I've rewritten the code about 4 times.

#7

@ihammmy any other suggestions? :confused:

#8

Ah, I think i've found the problem.

In your code, you havn't put a space between the "border" and "2px".

Your code should be:

.friend {
    border: 2px dashed #008000;
}

.family {
    border: 2px dashed #0000FF;
}

.enemy {
    border: 2px dashed #FF0000;
}

Hope this helps! :smile:

#9

still aint working . . . :confused: something is broken xd . under is the html

#10

i think that should be right but u can try to space the : so i comes out like this. Don't think it gona make a difference but the only thing i can think off.

border : 2px dashed #FF0000;

I honestly have no idea.

Try copy and pasting my code below to see if it is a minute error.

HTML

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
	<head>
		<link type="text/css" rel="stylesheet" href="stylesheet.css"/>
		<title>My Social Network</title>
	</head>
	<body>
	    <div class="friend"></div>
	    <div class="family"></div>
	    <div class="enemy"></div>
	</body>
</html>

CSS

/*Add your CSS below!*/

div {
	display: inline-block;
	margin-left: 5px;
	height: 100px;
	width: 100px;
	border-radius: 100%;
	border: 2px solid black;
}

.friend {
    border: 2px dashed #008000;
}

.family {
    border: 2px dashed #0000FF;
}

.enemy {
    border: 2px dashed #FF0000;
}

#12

thanks man, xd. This course is getting more and more broken with that code. That code you sent me gives me the same error but with some nice weird artifacts in the window...

Im out ill try on another computer, this one gotta be broken....

#13

Yep ha ha.

I think Codeacademy needs to review all bug reports and fix everything before making new courses

#14

Problem is solved!!! All i had to do was to open codeacademy on my laptop and copy paste the same code xd. I think the coders of the site, may need to look through some of their codes..

#15

@s4d, In future, please post your code, not a screencast. It might be easier for others to help. Thank you.
