Hi! Wondering if single (’ ') and double quotation (" ") can be used interchangeably in CSS. I’ve tried switching them out for each other and it doesn’t affect the code at all, however I’m wondering if there’s an effect I’m unaware of.
Eg. a[href*=‘florence’]{} and a[href*=“florence”]{}
Any guidance is appreciated.
Hi there!
Welcome to the forums!
Single and double quotes in CSS are to developer preference as they are interchangeable as long as they are used in pairs. I would say, though, that there are opinions on which you should use; however, I suggest you pick one and stick to it.
