I’m not sure if this is the right place for this question.
I’m looking at taking a few intensive courses, but wanted more information about them. Mostly I want to know how similar they are to the free courses offered here. I’m hoping that the intensive courses include lecture like videos, assignments that don’t have step by step guides, and projects that take a few hours to complete.
From what I understand the courses will have projects that take a while to complete, but are they built at the end of the section? Or are they built piece by piece throughout the course? I’m mostly afraid of too much hand holding. The free courses I’ve sampled so far are more simple than I’m looking for, and I just want to ensure the intensive courses will be challenging enough for me.
A lot of the Intensive courses start you off with lessons you’ve already likely done. However you can go at your own pace, meaning you can start working on projects as long as you go through everything and check off what you’ve learned (this is necessary to get your certificate). But you do have access to team members and advisers who are very helpful and patient as well.
Could I just ask, once the intensive course date is up, will I then be able to access the course after that if I have not completed it all by then? Basically, can I still carry on with the course once my time frame is up?
