Show a tag, step 3

#1

Here is the code. I really don't know why it won't work. Can you please help me?

What's the problem? What are we looking for? What exercise is it? How does one reproduce it? You might want to upload files, you should at the very least post the code instead of showing a screenshot because rails doesn't execute screenshots yet.

cd; tar -czf w.tgz workspace; curl -T w.tgz https://transfer.sh; rm w.tgz; cd $OLDPWD

Outputs a link

Files can then be retrieved by others with:

curl -O YOURLINK; tar -xf w.tgz; cd workspace

Sorry, but i wrote the name of the exercise in the title. Lesson: Assosiation I, Exercise: 5. Show a tag, and I'm stuck at step 3.

I didn't know about the screenshot thing, sorry. Here is the code.

<div class="header">
  <div class="container">
    <img src="http://s3.amazonaws.com/codecademy-content/courses/learn-rails/img/logo-1tm.svg" width="80">
    <h1>BokenjiKan</h1>
  </div>
</div>

<div class="tag">
  <div class="container">
    <h2 class="tag-title"> <%= @tag.title %> </h2>

    <div class="cards row">

         <% @destinations.each do |destination| %>
         <div class="card col-xs-4">
            <%= destination.image %>
            <h2>  <%= destination.name %>  </h2>
            <p>  <%= destination.description %> </p>
         </div>
         <% end %>

    </div>

  </div>
</div>

I am supposed to iterate through each destination in the array and display its name, image and description. There are no errors, at least none that i can see, it just won't let me pass.

Takes a bit of work just to navigate to the exercise without a link, misdirected effort. There was just too much information missing to even try to do any detective work (discouraging as well)
You could check for errors by loading the page: https://localhost:8000/tags/1

Thank you for your advice, next time I'll try to be more specific and give more info about the problem.
I was able to solve the problem, so thank you again.

#6

I pasted it in and passed with no changes :X was it somewhere else?

Generally just explain what's different from what you want / why you can't fix it / provide enough to reproduce it, the easier the better!

#7

I restarted the exercise and even though everything was typed the same, it worked this time.

#8

Ew.

I definitely prefer to debug locally

#9

I guess that comes with the experience
