Share my react project of personal portfolio

Hi everyone, I’m Cat! I’m a healthcare data Analyst, learning front-end software engineering.
I’m new to this filed and would like to make new friends on the road!
I’m also new to github and if we can mutual follow each other that would be great!

Hi Cat, I’m Tyler it’s nice to meet you. I’m also new to the field and I’m learning back-end software engineering. I just checked out your portfolio and it is really impressive. I have yet to learn how to utilise github in my course, but I believe it is coming up soon in the syllabus. Are you interested in hearing my opinion on small improvements I think you could make to your portfolio? It is nothing major, but if you’re interested I’d love to give feedback, but if you’re not interested in the feedback, I’d just like to say Hi! and I’m glad you’re part of the community.

I noticed that your picture on your about me section has a white border the overlaps on top of the circle border you created for it. I was curious if with my limited knowledge I could figure out a solution to having the photo render underneath your border and I’m proud to say I found the answer! If you add a “overflow: hidden;” declaration on your “.about .about-img .about-img-wrapper” selector, your picture will render underneath the border and create a cleaner look. I know you weren’t asking for help with this and I apologize if this isn’t appropriate. I just learned something and thought I would share.

Hi Tyler,

Nice to meet you too, and thank you for your kind words and enthusiasm! I really appreciate your feedback and willingness to share your thoughts on how to improve my portfolio. It’s always great to receive constructive feedback from fellow developers. :innocent:
It’s a pleasure to be part of this community, and I’m looking forward to learning and growing together.
