Set bool_three equal to the result of not 10 % 3 <= 10 % 2

#1

Set bool_three equal to the result of not 10 % 3 <= 10 % 2

Why is this True?
10 % 3 <= 10 % 2
3.33 <= 5
Statement is True
so "not" should make the answer False

But the program says it's "True"

Either I can't math, I'm not getting something, or something's not working.

In your code above @agentmatthias, it states it is true, there is no not. Please copy your code..

My bad - the prompt asks" Set bool_three equal to the result of not 10 % 3 <= 10 % 2"

I think so. I dont know

#7

Well thanks for trying. I guess it doesn't really matter, I understood the concept. I'm just a bit concerned I forgot how to do simple math lol.

#8

Hi, the % sign means the remainder of the division so 10%3 = 1 and 10%2 = 0 therefore 1<= 0 is false and the not of false is true

Thank you

Thanks so much! I thought it simply meant division, which is '/'.
