Semicolon after curly brackets of functions?

In line 6 there is a semicolon after the function defenition. I have readen that semicolon should be avoid after curly brackets. What do you think?

You should avoid semicolons after curly brackets of loops and conditions. Here is an explanation why:
http://discuss.codecademy.com/t/conditions-blocks-and-semicolons/2176?u=haxor789 . But for functions this syntax applies:

var name = value;

for function value is just a bit more complex.
