🚀 Seeking Feedback on ALL My Codecademy Projects - Let's Learn Together!

Hey Codecademy Pioneers!

I hope everyone’s coding journey is going smoothly!

As a passionate learner here, I’ve been diligently working through the beginner projects, and while they’re fantastic for learning, I understand they might be a bit too easy for detailed feedback. But here’s the thing – I want to have all of my projects posted for review!

Why ALL Projects? :rocket:

You might wonder why I’m doing this. Well, for me, every project, regardless of its complexity, is a learning opportunity. By having all my projects under one roof, I’m aiming to document my entire coding journey and gather insights that’ll help me become a better coder. :computer:

Where do you fit into this? :star2:

I invite you to join me on this adventure. Your feedback, whether you’re a fellow beginner, intermediate coder, or seasoned pro, is incredibly valuable. Here’s how you can participate:

  • Honest Reviews: Please don’t hold back! If you see something that needs improvement, shout it out. Your feedback is the wind in my sails.
  • Encouragement: If you find something you like or think I’ve made progress, a few words of encouragement can go a long way in boosting morale. :rocket:
  • Tips and Tricks: Share your secret coding techniques or resources that have helped you on your own journey. We’re all in this together! :handshake:

If immediate feedback is what you’re hoping for, it might be a better idea to post links over on the CC Discord server in the appropriate channel. (to access Discord, go to the “Chat” link above).

Plus, you’ve already posted several of these projects as separate topics here (duplicate posts). You have to give people a chance to see them and review them. Perhaps delete the duplicate posts to start. Most of these projects have their own Category and tags over here.

Thank you! I tried deleting the duplicated posts but couldn’t so I’m waiting from support.
I just wanted to group every project together for easy access. But maybe that’s a bad idea.
Will figure how to delete the duplicates or maybe this one.

I also don’t expect immediate feedback specially in the first few projects.

Sure thing. There are a lot of people in the front-end channel and JS, along with various career paths (I’m not sure which path you’re on) who might be able to provide more timely feedback.
It’s just a thought. I know how important constructive feedback is for learners/developers.

Also, CS won’t be able to do anything about removing dupes here in the forums. Someone would have to ask a Mod to do that.

Project 12: The Summit :mount_fuji:

Went with a skeuomorphic design for the top section, featuring a realistic texture and appearance. For the bottom buttons, opted for a modern touch with circular flat buttons that subtly shrink in size when activated, adding a touch of interactivity to the user experience.

Project 13: Fresh Deals: Blueberries :blueberries:

The primary challenge encountered during this project revolved around the non-trivial process of downloading the necessary files onto my computer for project resolution. After investing a significant amount of time, I ultimately opted to manually replicate the required components. Consequently, the project is regrettably lacking numerous essential files.

Project 14: Build a Website Design System :computer:

I acquired the design system from Figma of a different project since design isn’t my forte, and I had already invested considerable time in selecting appropriate colors and fonts. To mimic the Figma design as closely as possible, I employed flexbox, even though it hadn’t been introduced officially. While there were button layouts available, I chose to utilize div elements instead. These divs serve a purely illustrative purpose, showcasing the design system without requiring any functional implementation.
