Oops, try again. Your function fails on scrabble_score("pie"). It returns "None" when it should return "5".

I am getting the output then how come that error is still present?! I am getting the answer 5 on the console, and also the correct answer for other words. Is the result being stored as a string?

Replace this line with your code.
score = {"a": 1, "c": 3, "b": 3, "e": 1, "d": 2, "g": 2,
         "f": 4, "i": 1, "h": 4, "k": 5, "j": 8, "m": 3,
         "l": 1, "o": 1, "n": 1, "q": 10, "p": 3, "s": 1,
         "r": 1, "u": 1, "t": 1, "w": 4, "v": 4, "y": 4,
         "x": 8, "z": 10}

def scrabble_score(word):
    scr = []
    for i in word:
        for k in score:
            if i and i.lower() == k:
                scr.append(score[k])
    a = sum(scr)
    print a
print scrabble_score("pie")
