Same problem as many others

#1

Hi. I'm having the same issues as many others. Based on the answers I'm seeing in other questions, my code is right, but I'm still getting the error, "It looks like you didn't print the correct string!" even though I'm printing the string the instructions say should be logged. ("Drive safe") Below is my code. Can anyone help? Thanks!

var speed = 65;

// Complete the condition in the ()s on line 4
if (speed > 80) {
	console.log("Slow down."); // Use console.log() to print "Slow down"
}
else {
	console.log("Drive safe!"); // Use console.log() to print "Drive safe"
}

Did you try getting rid of all the // ... ?

#3

Yes. Tried cutting, refreshing and pasting, too. No luck.

I don't remember this exercise precisely, but usually when the instructions is, for example:

log "Drive safe." if you log "Drive safe!" it might not work.

Else, did you try using another browser?

Yep, taking out the additional punctuation worked. I sometimes forget that Codecademy wants exact code and nothing extraneous. Thanks!!
