Ruby on Rails Portfolio background image

#1

I'm having trouble getting the image I have uploaded to Dropbox to appear on the "welcome" page of my Rails app. Has anyone else had this problem?

Here are the HTML and CSS I am using. Any assistance would be appreciated.
BTW I have also tried using the URL of the image in an img tag and it also does not show up (just get the little "picture box" on the page). Are there some permissions or something I am missing in Dropbox?

<div class="main home">
  <div class="jumbotron">
    <div class="container">
      <h2>Hello. My name is <span class="highlight">Marcia Schulman</span> and I have creative ideas and build websites</h2>
      <a class="btn right" href="portfolio">View my Work</a>
    </div>
  </div>
</div>

.home .jumbotron {
background-image: url(https://www.dropbox.com/s/1661c3rl85xn7tz/pexels-photo.jpg?dl=0);
background-size:cover;
background-position: center center;
min-height:600px;
width:100%
}

Hey Marcia,

I suggest you upload your image to some place like Imgur instead of Dropbox, then right-click on the image and select “Copy Image URL”, then use that for your background image's URL. I know the instructions say to use Dropbox, but it's not really intended for this type of thing, so it'll be harder to get it to work with Dropbox.
