I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong here. Can somebody point out my error?

"Oops, try again. Did you remember to add a border of color #3A5FCD around every element?"

p {
    color: #00E5EE;
}
div p {
    color: #CC0000;
}
* {
    border: 2px solid;
    color: #3A5FCD;
}

#2

the property you look for is border-color, not just color

Either way, there are actually only 2 proper ways to define border. The border property with 3 values, or the individual property's with one value each (property's are: border-width, border-style, border-color)

you use both border and border-color, now border-color has to overwrite the default color of border (since border requires 3 values). Just a small detail

#3

It's OK.

  • {color: #00E5EE; }

div * {color: #CC0000}

  • {border: 2px solid #3A5FCD}
