Right Answer - Keeps Saying It's Wrong

#1

Okay, so, I know I'm putting in the right code, but the system keeps saying that there's nothing being printed to the console - I think I might be dealing with a bug, but maybe I'm just missing something, I don't know - Please help - Thank you - Here's my code by the way:

#2

I think this is the correct way

demo_array = [100, 200, 300, 400, 500]

demo_ array[0] = "100"
demo_ array[1] = "200"
demo_ array[2] = "300"
demo_ array[3] = "400"

print demo_array[2]

#3

hey, have a look on instructions - you have to print out the third element (300)

#5

I'm not sure - That's not the way they showed me in the hint for this exercise or in the lecture itself, doesn't look like it anyway - I don't know - Plus, why would it say that I didn't print ANYTHING to the console instead of telling me that I made a specific mistake if that's really the issue?... smh

#6

I noticed you're right, and I tried it again using demo_array[2] instead of demo_array[3], and I still got the same response saying that nothing's being printed...

#7

Alright, I just figured it out - I had to erase where it says "enter your code here" and put my actual code in place of the instruction...

#8

Here's The Code

demo_array = [100, 200, 300, 400, 500]

print demo_array[2]

thank me later :stuck_out_tongue:

#9

I figured it out - Thank you much though... P :slightly_smiling:
