[reported] Keyboard shortcut for 'Next' (ctrl+>) not working

Setup: Chrome Version 80.0.3987.132 (Official Build) (64-bit) on macOS Mojave 10.14.6 (18G95)

On some exercises (example: " Introduction to NumPy") the shortcut doesn’t work unless I click on the left pane, which makes the keyboard shortcut kind of useless.

I have come across some solutions involving a paid chrome extension, which doesn’t make much sense for a keyboard shortcut on a site I already pay for. Any free solutions are appreciated.

Same here, it doesn’t work if my most recent click was in the code editor. I just don’t use the shortcut because it doesn’t work.

I… have never been able to get those keyboard shortcuts to work for me in the learning environment, so I’ve never used them.

I’ll ask whether this is something that can be looked into.

Oh no! Now Ctrl+enter is also not working! I have to click on the instructions to continue to the next step…

Hi, I’m sorry to hear that they’ve never worked for you.

Who are you going to ask? Thanks!

I have logged a support ticket with the Codecademy team to see whether this is expected behaviour, or a bug.

When I get any more info, I’ll come back and update you.
