I am doing the remove_duplicates exercise. My program works fine, but the system comes back with this message: Oops, try again. remove_duplicates() resulted in an error: list index out of range
It tells you which input your function fails for, I suspect you haven't tested your code yourself with that input.
There was no error message in the code - this happened to someone else if you look at a message from Oct 2015. Since my code works, I borrowed one of the simpler programs and have moved on now.
It doesn't. That's what it's telling you, and it's telling you what you can do to see this for yourself, which is to use an empty list as the input value.
OK - I understand that they tested the null list. Not extremely intuitive since most of their exercises tends to not cover all possibilities. I was able to modify my code to handle a null list and now got the green flag. thanks - I learned something.
