Remote: Repository not found

Hello everyone, after am being asked to enter the command > git push -u origin master then it requires me to enter my username and password, it goes well however, it i get the following respond :frowning:

> remote: Repository not found.
> fatal: repository 'https://github.com/adnanalmahwiti/adnanalmahwiti.github.io.git/' not found

help please :slight_smile:

Your repo doesn't have the right name. That link you've given us really does give a 404 error.

When I look at your GitHub account I can see that you've named your repo:

.github.io but it should be:
adnanalmahwiti.github.io

I'm not sure if you can just rename it. Maybe you'll have to back up a step or two and do that part again.

oh i get it now, am i able to rename it through gitub website?
