Hello, I was in the trial and ready to cancel it when I was charged. On May 5, 2020 I received an e-mail “Your Codecademy Pro payment has failed”, then I rushed to my account and unsubscribed. On May 10, I received a notification that my card was debited. I need a refund. I had no need for the pro subscription. I cannot afford the account at this time. It was my last money.

Unfortunately refunds and transactions can not be handled over the forums. Instead you should submit a ticket to Codecademy. You can do this by pressing the “Billing questions?” button at the top of the page. You can then contact them from there.
