Why does .reverse method print the string AND quotation marks?
I don't think the reverse string method prints anything.
Perhaps something else printed it, and perhaps that something displays strings with quotation marks around it so that you can tell it's a string. That something will probably print any string this way, and doesn't have anything to do with string's reverse method.
Assumptions will mislead you if you treat them as facts! Assumptions come with some condition for them being true, and that has to be taken into account when making use of them.
It shouldn't unless you had a quote in your statement. I have noticed that the console here on codecademy does do some funny things sometimes. When I did the Redacted section it kept displaying my array at the very end. even though i had never called on it. could you possibly post a copy of the code and the output
