Question of the Week: The Future of Coding

There are endless applications for coding skills in the future.

What programming language speaks to you and why?

Python programming language speaks to me;-). I like it because its syntax is clear , elegant and logical besides its proliferation in almost every scientific, engineering and web application.
Moreover, there also lots of material ,free and paid, to learn python.

C# seems to speak to me - I feel it’s one of the ‘cleanest’ languages to write (as opposed to it’s closely compared language Java) and very gratifying and rewarding to use in larger projects. I also feel it is a good mix of readability and clarity, better than my actual most used language JavaScript

GO speaks to me, maybe because Kernighan has had his hands on. I would like to see more on Codecademy.

C for me.

I love the feeling of low level languages and getting “closer” to the computer in the way you think while programming. C is high enough to not be super low level repetitive tasks while coding, but still low enough that you have to think more like a computer.

For me c++ is the one, it is the first language I truly delved into (I started with Javascript but it wasn’t for me I guess)
