Question 6

#1

I posted what it asked me to do, but it says that I did not put a variable for feedback

#2

if (userAnswer = "yes")

should be

if (userAnswer === "yes")

you wrote

if(feedback.length>8)

it should rather be

if(feedback>8)

since feedback is effectively expected to be an int

#3

Thanks. but it still did not work

#4

what is the error? I cant see the entire code, can you post it here?
to format it follow the syntax below

```
paste your code in between these quotes
```

#5

var feedback=prompt("Rate game out of 10")
if(feedback>8)
{
console.log("Thank you! We should race at the next concert!");
}
else
console.log("I'll keep practicing coding and racing.");
}

Error: Oops, try again.
Did you set the feedback variable to the result of prompting the user for feedback?

#6

should be

else {console.log("I'll keep practicing coding and racing.");}

#7

var feedback=prompt("Rate game out of 10")
if(feedback>8)
{console.log("Thank you! We should race at the next concert!");}
else
{console.log("I'll keep practicing coding and racing.");}

Now it says there is something wrong with my syntax

#8

Here

var feedback = prompt("Rate game out of 10");
if(feedback>=8){
    console.log("Thank you! We should race at the next concert!");
}
else{
    console.log("I'll keep practicing coding and racing.");
}

this code should work without errors if you still get errors for the tests by codeacademy then it means you are doing something logically different from what they are asking

#9
