The error I receive states that I did not select the right substring for "January". When I print just the line for January, I do get "Jan". Any ideas?

Using console.log, on three separate lines, print out the substrings for the following strings.

a. "Jan" in "January"
b. "Melbourne is" in "Melbourne is great" (note the space!)
c. "burgers" in "Hamburgers"

"January".substring(0,3)
"Melbourne is great".substring(0,12)
"Hamburgers".substring(3,10)

look at the first part of the instructions:

Using console.log, on three separate lines, print out the substrings for the following strings.

the console.log is missing in your case

You rock... Thank you. For some reason console.log was not required to print the same statements on the previous lesson. Reading comprehension FTL.
