Quarterback Rating Calculator in Python

I wrote a Quarterback Rating Calculator using Python. The result is here: Github link to Quarterback Rating Calculator project

Cool. Is it just NFL or also NCAA?

Also, the link should just go to the code in the repo.
As it is now, it asks the person if they want to fork the repository to propose changes.

It’s just NFL. I had that in mind when I wrote this program.

Is the code in a file other than the README.md file? (Like a .py file or `.ipynb’ file)

There’s some syntax errors in it around the if statement, here:

percentage_interceptions_per_attempt = 2.375 - (interceptions / passes_attempted) * (.25) * (100) if percentage_interceptions_per_attempt >= 9.5:
    print("The rating in the percentage of interceptions per attempt category is zero") else: print("The rating in the percentage of interceptions per attempt category is", percentage_interceptions_per_attempt)

This is the only file I have.

I wasn’t aware of the syntax errors. Thanks for bringing this to my attention!

The readme file is just for a description of the repository. Create a .py file and then push that to GH.

What IDE do you use? There are several free IDEs out there:

I don’t use any of these IDEs yet. But I’ll check them out.
