Python Command Line Calendar


I’d like to know what is the difference between “del calendar[date]” and “del(calendar[date])”, since in the note below it is stated not clear enough for me. Please, describe the difference in detail. Thank you!

These both do the same thing …

del calendar[date]

The parentheses in the second example have no effect, since the expression, (calendar[date]) evaluates to calendar[date].
