Seems we go outside the scope of what the exercise is asking. But yes, you could. You would simply have to get rid of the if condition and the tomato is not a fruit print statement
codecademy tries to make coding simpler and more fun by doing things like this (There is also a whole bunch of monty python references), it might not always be accurate, so wether a tomato is a fruit or not is not the relevant question here
