Pyglatin Ending up part

#1

Could someone please help me understand this? thanks

#2

you take a slice of new_word, and print it directly

the exercise wants you to take a slice of new_word, store this slice in new_word then print it

#3

you mean like this;
new_word [1:4]
print new_word [1:len(new_word)]

#4

where do 1 and 4 come? one i understand, but why? you can use len(new_word)

also, you now take the slice, but you don't store the result of this action anywhere?

#5

Okay, now I get it.
Used a slice of new_word and printed it directly.

new_word = new_word[1:len(new_word)]
print new_word
That works.
