well,i'm a lit bit confused on this lesson ,because the lesson ask you to ''Ask the user to input a word in English'' but until now in this unid 3 we didnt learn how to use the function input ,so how am i suposted to do that if i dont know this function

Well in Strings Formatting with % Part 2 does show raw input and does use it

But also in 3.) Input the lesson I believe you are referring goes into examples about raw input in the instructions and the lesson instructions especially step 1 says, "On line 4, use raw_input("Enter a word:") to ask the user to enter a word. Save the results of raw_input() in a variable called original." So while yes you have not exactly learned it yet I believe you are learning it now and have ample enough material and helps to proceed with it. If not post your question in a different or in this discussion for help.
