pyg latin input…

print ‘Welcome to the Pig Latin Translator!’

Start coding here!

raw_input("Enter a word: ")
original = raw_input()

here i run the code…then type a word in console…press enter …still spinning circle goes on forever…stuck here…pls help

you have raw_input twice, why? This will prompt the user for input twice (in this case you are the user, so you have to enter two words)

we just need one word, so prompting the user once, is enough

hint says…
code should look like this…
variable_name = raw_input(‘Prompt’)

which uses one raw_input, where as your code uses two raw_inputs

only one is required, raw_input is a function which prompts the user for input. We need one word from the user, so one prompt should do.

instruction goes like this…

On line 4, use raw_input("Enter a word: ") to ask the user to enter a word. Save the results of raw_input() in a variable called original.

Click Run

Type a word in the console window and press Enter (or Return).

okk got it…

code should go like this…

print ‘Welcome to the Pig Latin Translator!’

Start coding here!

original = raw_input("Enter a word: ")
