I'm having difficulty passing the purify exercise. The error I keep getting reads, "Did you create a function called purify? Your code threw a "global name 'purify' is not defined" error." Am I missing something simple here?

def purify(numlist)
    newnumlist = []
    for num in numlist:
        if num % 2 == 0:
    return newnumlist

at the end of your function declaration should be a colon:

def purify(numlist):

just a small syntax error

Ah, that's frustrating. Thanks so much!
