Processing JS

how it processing JS different from JS.

It is different in the same way jQuery is different, but they are both still JavaScript. They are refined libraries that abstract away the messy bits behind elegant functional syntax. In fact, they both have the same author, John Resig.

Processing.js is a JavaScript port (thanks to Mr. Resig) of Processing which is a language designed for media arts. It helps to fill a void for web designers whose work is largely built around CANVAS but who are also adept at JavaScript.

The graphics courses at Khan Academy use Processing.js, and it is also employed in the Maths and Physics courses, I believe (behind the scenes). It is to JavaScript what Turtle is to Python.
