Problems with 'Old enough to play?'

#1

I'm getting "SyntaxError: Unexpected token ILLEGAL" And I have no idea what that means. Please, what's wrong with my code?

confirm("I'm ready");
var age = prompt("What is your age?");
if (age < 13) {
console.log("Play on! But the game makers take no responsibility.)
}
else {
console.log("Play on chaps!")
}

#2

You're forgetting the parenthesis at the end of your first console.log:

console.log("Play on! But the game makers take no responsibility.");

and, you're forgetting semi colons at the end of both of your console.log statements.

#3

REAL CODE

confirm (" Are you ready to play ? ");
var age = prompt("What is your age?");
if (age < 13)
{
console.log("You can play this game but we are not responsible");
}
else
{
console.log("We encourage you to play this game");
}

Thank you!!! Think I spent too kuch time staring at the screen. I should have walked away and given myself a break.
