Problem with npm start

I have started this project 'BUILDING FRONT-END APPLICATIONS WITH REACT ’ and I have installed node.js, npm and react in the correct way. (I get right output when i print their versions)
When I create the ravenous directory by create-react-app ravenous everything seems fine but when I cd into the ravenous and enter npm start this error occurs:

Help would be appreciated!

First guess I would say It looks like it´s not able to access the path to cmd correctly. Maybe adding cmd to the global variables path would solve this…

and how exactly am I supposed to do that? I am newbie so please help me out.

So I´v found this stack overflow issue that seems to have the same error pattern. I suggest you read the solutions.
