Problem with CSS Visual Rules 9 Background Image

#1

I’m stuck on CSS Visual Rules 9 Background Image. I’ve entered the following code:

.image {
background-image: url(“https://s3.amazonaws.com/codecademy-content/courses/freelance-1/unit-2/soccer.jpeg”);
background-size: cover;
background-position: center;
height: 300px;
}

But I’m getting a message saying “Did you make the .image element’s background image the url in the instructions?”

I’ve followed previous suggestions with the same problem on here: I’ve tried different browser, I’ve logged out and back in, I’ve pasted the URL in and typed it in. Still the same problem.

The image appears in the article so the url must be right.

Any ideas? It’s stopping me continuing on.

Edit: Ran it loads of times and finally got the solution button to appear, but looking at the solution it’s exactly the same as the code above, so none the wiser as to the problem, but at least I can continue.

Sometimes it’s a cache problem, the old, initial or wrong code is in your browsers cache.

Glad you’ve managed to get paste it :slight_smile:
