Problem with Chapter 25 - Size and borders

#1

Hello, I have a problem with Chapter 25. I finish the exercise and I can't find any mistake but it doesn't let me continue with it. I've tried with both Firefox and Explorer and it doesn't work.
It says "Oops, try again. Did you remember to give your image a 1px solid #4682b4 border? "

Can anyone help me?

Thanks!

Hello,
your code is perfect, however it may be that your browser is zoomed in. This happens when someone
presses CTRL (or CMD if on a mac) and scrolls. To fix this, if you are on a windows device, or even if you're not,
press CTRL + 0. If you are on a mac, press CMD + 0. If it still doesn't work, try upgrading your broswer, or even trying a new browser,

Hope this helped,
Sean B

I've tried both things and still doesn't work.

#4

Have you tried using a different browser?

#5

I am also having this issue. I am also not zoomed in. It is crazy that I might have to use a different browser to complete this......

#6

Same issue here. Things I tried:
- zoom reset (even I didnĀ“t have it zoomed in/out)
- full page reload
- Google chrome is up-to date
- different values: renders properly, but same error poped up
- closed / reopened browser tab
- added other different properties (before / after) to check behavior changes
- split "border: 1px solid #4682b4;"

TO (which also renders properly)
border-width: 1px;
border-color: #4682b4;
border-style: solid;

`
- Tested at https://www.w3schools.com/tags/tryit.asp?filename=tryhtml_img_border (and renders correctly)

Maybe a bug on codeacademy parser ?

I'm having the same problem with google chrome.

#8

When tested with IE, works fine.

In another test still in chrome, I have set "border-width: 50px;", and received the pop up error message saying it was 40.8px instead (even zoom was set a 100%)

This issue happened with me at all the exercises which deals with "border" or "border-width" property.

Thanks for all your answers.
I've tried all of those things (except Chrome, because I don't have that browser installed) and still can't keep going. I don't know why they don't solve this problem when there are so many people having issues with it. I've been stuck in this for almost a week and I'm about to drop out this course as I can't keep going...
