Problem SQL : Analyzing Business Metrics (Introduction)

#1

Hello everyone !

I just start the part one of SQL analyzing business metrics, but I have a problem. The 1. asks me to replace " /**/ " by "orders", but it doesn't work. In the console it's written : "Error: near line 1: no such table: orders". I don't understand my mistake !

See below my request :

select *
from orders
order by id
limit 100;

If someone can help me that would be super cool !

Thank !

@kevrabe
Try a refresh Browser

Always refresh the browser after making corrections:
CTRL f5 ( if on Windows or Linux)
CMD r ( if on a MAC).
CTRL 0 to reset browser zoom

You could also check the Build of the database
by using

+++ show all table defintions

select * from sqlite_master;

@kevrabe
Could you provide a screen-shot of you doing the exercise....

im sorry but i can't see whats wrong with your code. Maybe what you can do is put a random code, run it, and then put back your regular code. It worked for me. Otherwise kepp refreshing it like @leonhard.wettengmx.n said

I didn't change the code and it was validated this morning, I don't know why !

#7

i know. Codeacadmy is very buggy

#8

yes that's correct but after you replace that you have to end with /**/
