i am sorry for disturbing you. i just discovered the mistake. i am really sorry. elitehebamme, the problem is in the padding for .nav a. see the correct one.
.nav a {
color: #5a5a5a;
font-size: 11px;
font-weight: bold;
padding-top: 14px;
padding-bottom: 14px;
padding-left: 10px;
padding-right: 10px;
text-transform: uppercase;
}
.jumbotron {
background-image: url('http://goo.gl/04j7Nn');
height: 500px;
}
.jumbotron h1 {
color: #fff;
font-size: 48px;
font-weight: bold;
}
.jumbotron p {
color: #fff;
font-size: 20px;
}

@elitehebamme, you are missing one curly bracket -- can you spot it?

Thanks this helped me.

These both mean the same thing:

padding: 14px 10px 14px 10px;

padding-top: 14px;
padding-bottom: 14px;
padding-left: 10px;
padding-right: 10px;

The first example uses the padding shortcut. You can read more about it here:
